You are searching for a career-grade, W2 full-time position backed by one of the strongest union contracts in American blue-collar work. What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)
"I left my retail management job to work full-time at the UPS fulfillment center and it was the best career decision I have made. The hourly rate is significantly higher than retail, the Teamsters medical coverage replaced a health plan that was costing me $400 a month, and the pension is something I never had before. Full-time UPS fulfillment center work is genuinely different from any warehouse job I have had — the structure, the training, and the career path are all real." - Current Full-Time Fulfillment Center Worker, Memphis, TN.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a full-time UPS Fulfillment Center Worker, you execute the complete daily cycle of our fulfillment center operation — processing inbound freight, sorting packages across conveyor systems, building outbound loads, and staging shipments for delivery — on a structured 8-hour shift with consistent start times and a predictable weekly schedule you can plan your life around.
- Inbound Freight Processing: Unload arriving trailers, scan inbound packages into the fulfillment system, and route every parcel accurately to the correct sort lane or staging zone based on destination routing data.
- Package Sortation & Routing: Work the main sort conveyor, reading destination routing labels and diverting packages to correct outbound belts, chutes, and trailer lanes with the accuracy and pace that UPS fulfillment standards require across every shift.
- Outbound Load Building: Construct outbound trailer loads in sequence order, applying UPS-approved stacking methods to maximize trailer capacity while protecting every package from transit damage throughout its journey to the delivery center.
